Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company s Good Manufacturing Practices. As a Material Handler, you will be trained to drive productivity on the Production Line. Moves, delivers, and stores raw materials, Packaging and finished goods in Production or Warehouse areas. Maintains accurate inventories of all materials. Works directly under the supervision and quality control of Tychopoly management. Must be able to work 7:00AM/PM- 7:00AM/PM (Continental Shifts)

Responsibilities

1. Observe all Tycho Poly safety rules and always use safe working methods to avoid injury or damage to property.
2. Move materials through the facility using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pump trucks.
3. Participate in Continuous Improvement events and teams.
4. Use the ERP system to access and record information (product codes, part numbers, quantities, locations, etc.).
5. Complete and submit paperwork to properly document work performed.
6. Load and unload materials onto/from delivery vehicles, trailers, or pallets.
7. Conduct material audits.
8. Maintain general housekeeping in production and warehouse departments.
9. Prepare materials for production line changeovers, including mixing and regrinding material.
10. Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards, as well as applicable regulations.
11. Ensure proper packing and packaging of product according to customer requirements.
12. Ensure all materials and packaging are available before starting an order.
13. Ensure finished goods (FG) are properly labeled, wrapped, moved to the correct location, and weighed.
14. Ensure scrap skids are labeled, weighed, documented, and moved to the correct location.
15. Remove full scrap skids promptly.
16. Deliver parts to the production line and prepare shipments for offsite locations.
17. Stock and organize inventory.
18. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
20. Record raw material receipts in the Cyframe ERP system and manage labeling.
21. Track all product movements by labeling items with required information and scanning location barcodes in the ERP system.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change and interruptions.
2. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.
3. Ability to lift and bend repetitively.
4. Ability to stand for extended periods — up to 12 hours per shift.
