Position Summary

Line Associate Will be responsible for the setup, Satisfactory production of all equipment, accurate packing, and inspection of all products. Ensure that Production area meets Tychopoly housekeeping requirements.  This responsibility is to be exercised within the scope of all company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Line Associate is the first step in a training path to become Machine operator. Must be able to work 7:00AM/PM - 7:00AM/PM

Reports to : Quality Control, Supervisor, Lead-hand & Machine Operator.

Responsibilities

  1. Personal gadgets like cellphone, smartwatches, and EarPods are prohibited inside the plant.

  2. Demonstrates ability to meet production and quality standards on scheduled orders.

  3. Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.

  4. Performs in accordance with safety requirements and instructions.

  5. Responsible for safety and quality throughout production.

  6. Notifies the Production Manager, Supervisor, or Machine Operator when stepping off the line to maintain safety and quality standards.

  7. Reports all production waste/issues to the Production Manager, Supervisor, or Machine Operator.

  8. Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.

  9. Follows all company policies and procedures.

  10. Packs quality product into cases/rolls or onto pallets.

  11. Inspects products regularly for quality (after every 2 rolls/boxes).

  12. Assists in operating and setting up lines and cleaning all production equipment.

  13. Adheres to all work order specifications.

  14. Follows company packing procedures and standards.

  15. Collaborates with colleagues to accomplish required production tasks.

  16. Communicates concerns and ideas effectively to the Machine Operator, Supervisor, and Production Manager.

  17. Constructs boxes and packs them manually or with automated machines.

  18. Prepares packaging materials during changeover processes (core, core plug, label, skid, overwrap, etc.) and uses proper packaging.

  19. Applies proper labeling on boxes/rolls as per work instructions.

  20. Safely cuts changeover scrap with a knife and moves it to the scrap box; reuses cores for other orders.

  21. Places scrap in the specified product-type scrap bin and seeks supervisor help if needed.

  22. Inspects and packs the defined number of products into boxes/rolls.

  23. Verifies exact number of cases/rolls as specified on the work order.

  24. Ensures product orders are packed and moved carefully.

  25. Inspects, weighs, and packages each product to meet customer quality requirements.

  26. Monitors the flow of product into processing machinery.

  27. Utilizes the computer system to enter order information, roll/case weight, print labels, and apply them to products.

  28. Learns the “Line Associate Cyframe ERP system” to understand the proper workflow.

  29. Ensures all work is performed accurately to optimize production output and minimize scrap.

  30. Learns to set up production lines and extruders within the training period.

Special Notes

Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change and interruptions.

  2. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.

  3. Ability to lift and bend repetitively.

  4. Ability to stand for long periods — up to 12 hours per shift.
